Hello! My name is Yangyuchen Li - a.k.a. Richan, a 2D animator + illustrator based in the LA area.
I was born and raised in Kunming, China, and came to the US to study when I was fifteen. My practices explore language, ritual, and intimacy that overlap across cultures, from modern life to mythological folklore. Exporting these thoughts into fun jpegs, gifs, and movs with a wide variety of art styles is the language that I speak.
